Genie options and accessories allow operators to do their jobs more efficiently and help provide an additional level of safety to their work environment. Here’s a rundown of what accessories are available for our booms and scissor lifts.

Boom Accessories

Pipe Cradle (Part Number: 85300)
Pipe cradles reduce the risk of injury and fatigue by providing operators with a safe and secure way to lift pipes when working from an articulating or telescopic boom. Genie pipe cradles deliver stability and rigidity with a robust design which transfers the load away from the guard rails and onto the platform deck. The pipe cradle assembly mounts easily to the platform guardrails with U-bolts and rests on the floor of the platform when installed.

Auxiliary Top Rail (Part Number: 53807-S)
The Auxiliary Top Rail provides an additional rail above and beyond the existing top rail.

Plate Glass and Panel Cradle Package (Part Number: 77683-S)
This package allows the operator to lift panels up to 250 lb outside the existing guard rails of the boom platform. It includes two cradles with hardware, two foam cushions, and a load retaining strap. The cradles can be mounted on the end of the platform* or on the side, increasing productivity. The two foam cushions can also be placed in any position on the rails to protect the panel.

*This requires tri-entry platform for an install.

Swing Gate Kit (Part Number: 119950)
The swing gate option replaces the standard sliding mid-rail for walk-in access to the platform. This allows for easy entry and exit when wearing a tool belt, carrying a tool box or loading materials into the platform.

Operator Protective Structure, or OPS (Part Number: 219158)
This is a secondary protective device. It helps operators identify and avoid overhead obstacles is a top priority on any work site. In some applications, this new optional device provides secondary protection for operators in the event of contact with certain obstacles. The Genie OPS is made of tubular steel and can be attached to boom lifts with 6 ft to 8 ft platforms. It allows for excellent visibility and work range, and simply bolts onto the platform, with no modifications necessary.

Tool Tray (Part Number: 9599-S)
This easily installed tool tray is designed to help eliminate clutter and potential tripping hazards by providing operators and workers with a convenient place to store their tools, fasteners and small materials in the platform. It installs in front of the controls.

Fluorescent Tube Caddy (Part Number: 38229)
This option is designed specifically to hold fluorescent tube lamps for easy installation, maintenance and storage. The fluorescent tube caddy mounts quickly and easily to the platform guard rail and top of the container provides openings for each individual lamp to protect them and minimize breakage during movement.

Scissor Accessories

Tube Caddy (Part Number: 38226)
This option is designed specifically to hold fluorescent tube lamps for easy installation, maintenance and storage. The fluorescent tube caddy mounts quickly and easily to the platform guard rail and top of the container provides openings for each individual lamp to protect them and minimize breakage during movement.

Panel Carrier (Part Number: 1251827)
The panel carrier accessory provides a convenient and safe method of securing drywall, plywood, siding or window panels to the scissor lift as they are installed at height. The panel carrier provides quick and easy attachment and removal and can handle panel sizes up to 4 ft x 12 ft and loads up to 160 lb. The Genie scissor lift panel carrier has been tested to ANSI, as well as meets all Genie safety standards for stability and performance, and is approved for use on GS-2046 and GS-2646 scissor lifts only.

Work Light Accessory (Part Number: 144027)
can create a safer environment for workers on the platform and those on the ground. Floodlights provide illumination when working in areas where natural light is at a minimum. Lockable Control Box Cover (Part Number: 88609-S)
This option helps eliminate unauthorized use of the machine by allowing the operator or owner to close and lock the steel cover over the platform controls when not in use.
