This new secondary guarding system is designed to encourage boom lift operators to attach their harness lanyards to established platform anchor points. It comes in “Alert” and “Advanced” configurations and is comparable to the automotive industry's universal adoption of seatbelt in-use while driving warning systems. Designed for affordability, easy installation and quality, this device is easy for fleets to incorporate, whether large or small, so that it is available to everyone. It can be purchased both as a factory-fit option or as an aftermarket kit, retrofitted to all Genie boom models manufactured as of 2003 and is compatible with industry’s most popular lanyard carabiners (clips). The aftermarket kit can be retrofitted to existing models with basic tools in just under 15 minutes and without altering the machine - simplifying service work and fleet management.

Lift Guard Lanyard Alert provides visual and audible warnings only for jobsites where a simple, automotive-style solution is needed. The Lanyard Alert reminds the operator that the lanyard should be attached but does not prevent or interrupt operation. If the machine is on and the lanyard is not attached, a red light will flash. If the footswitch is enabled and the lanyard is still not attached, an audible alarm will start beeping.

Alternatively, the Advanced configuration provides both visual and audible warnings, as well as operation cut-off to meet employer or jobsite requirements. By combining both an alarm and function cut-off, it is both alerting the operator that the lanyard should be attached and will interrupt operation if it’s not. The red light and audible alarm will remain active until the lanyard is engaged. Additionally, machine functions will be disabled until the lanyard is engaged.

Designed, tested and approved by Genie, pipe cradles reduce the risk of fatigue by providing a secure way to lift pipes when working from a scissor lift or even an S or Z boom lift. Genie pipe cradles deliver stability and rigidity with a robust design which transfers the load away from the guard rails and onto the platform deck. The pipe cradle assembly mounts easily to the platform guardrails with U-bolts and rests on the floor of the platform when installed.

This accessory is an additional railing system that can be quickly and easily mounted on the outside of a Genie boom’s standard platform rails.  

This railing system adds an extra measure of security for the operator when working at height.

The new Genie® Lift Tools™ Access Deck for boom lifts provides operators with a secondary surface to work from, elevating them 22 in (0.56 m) above the platform floor. Attached to the platform midrail, this additional access enables operators to get into restricted spaces to increase productivity.

Providing more than 3 sq ft (0.27 m) of additional work area in the platform, this accessory is designed for use on jobsites where operators in a standard boom platform cannot reach their work. This additional access is ideal for use in HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing and welding applications, as well as between rafters or other structures at height. It is rated for both indoor and outdoor use.

Many jobsites require operators to access restricted areas above or beyond where a scissor lift’s platform can reach. This accessory provides operators with a secondary surface to elevate them above the platform floor for a productive solution to access hard-to-reach areas.

This additional deck installs to the inside of the extension deck guardrails on Genie® GS™-1930, GS-1932 scissor lift platforms as well as Genie® GS™-1432m and GS-1932m micro slab scissors (with an additional adapter). It is designed with a collapsible guardrail to ensure uninhibited maneuverability for operators using the accessory.

The new Genie^® Lift Tools™ Material Carrier attachment offers Genie GS™-2669, GS-3369 GS-4069, GS-3390, GS-4390 and GS-5390 DC and RT rough terrain scissor lift operators a solution to efficiently carry materials to jobsites. Designed to accommodate a wide range of materials and higher load capacities than a standard pipe cradle attachment, this new Genie accessory is ideal for use in applications that require lifting materials to height, such as tilt-up construction, post-frame building construction, fire suppression installation, HVAC installation, rooftop contracting and facility maintenance.

The large carriage and high capacity of the Genie Lift Tools Material Carrier attachment is suitable for multitude of material types, including lumber, pipe, HVAC materials, siding and plate material.
