Your Genie Story

Jorge Encinas - Rental LiftWe are dealer in Queretaro, México, in the central area. I became familiar with the Genie brand when I was a rental Manager to CAT dealer in Mexico, and then I continued working at other dealers, like John Deere and Atlas Copco. I always saw an opportunity to open an independent business with Genie aerial work platforms, and in November 2004, I bought used aerial personal Lifts, like the Genie® AWP30, and I started to rent and sell in Mexico.

Eventually, I hired a technical manager, and three years after I stared the business, my best friend from high school came to work with us. We have sold more than 75 personal lifts in 10 years, and today we have a rental fleet of 50 AWPs. And, this year when we attended The Rental Show in Atlanta with Tom Sparks, we bought our first Genie Z-60/37DC boom. It’s a really nice machine!
