INNOVATION

Ideal for servicing the general construction, waste-handling, recycling, materials-handling, demolition, or farming sectors, the multipurpose and compact Genie® GTH-3007 telehandler delivers full-sized performance and a high rental return on invested capital (ROIC).

The new Genie GTH-3007 telehandler combines efficient, full-featured capabilities with the most compact dimensions and lightest machine weight in its category. This innovative new telehandler provides fleet owners with the versatile on-site productivity and cost efficiency they need to generate a high ROIC.

Heavier lifting and higher reaching than the Genie GTH-2506 compact telehandler, the Genie GTH-3007 telehandler shares the same rugged durability as its forerunner. Moreover, this new telehandler at 6,060 kg (13,360 lb) is lighter than the Genie GTH-2506 model. Kurt Kinder, Genie National Sales Manager, Terex AWP Australia, adds, “Unlike heavier units by other brands, the new Genie GTH-3007 telehandler combines the full capacity of a 6.89 m (22 ft 7 in) machine with the cost efficiencies that only a 74-hp (55 kW) Stage IIIA engine can provide.”

Extra lift and reach on congested sites and in confined spaces

The new telehandler boasts a maximum lift capacity of 3,000 kg (6,614 lb), a lift capacity of 2,500 kg (5,511 lb) at a maximum height of 6.89 m (22 ft 7 in), as well as a lift capacity of 800 kg (1,764 lbs) at maximum reach of 3.86 m (12 ft 8 in). “Servicing is also notably faster and easier than units with higher horsepower engines, which enhances rental availability and boosts profitability,” says Kinder.

With a 2.55 m (8 ft 4 in) inside turning radius and high 43 cm (17 in) ground clearance, the compact dimensions of the Genie GTH-3007 telehandler make the unit a perfect match for jobs on busy and congested sites in confined or difficult to access spaces.

Greater sophistication, durability and more information

The more sophisticated load management system (LMS) in the Genie GTH-3007 telehandler is fully integrated into the machine’s control system. The control system provides operators with more information via a dynamic load chart, which is presented on a 17.8 cm (7 in) colour display. The LMS also includes a reversing camera, an optional forward/side camera and optional operator access controls that can be set up to restrict which attachments each operator can select. The LMS can be configured for full operator access or restricted access via a 4-digit PIN code or a unique electronic key.

The Genie GTH-3007 telehandler includes a rugged chassis, a two-stage boom with no chains or cables, durable steel front mudguards and field-proven Dana® axles. Kinder concludes, “Equipped with a variable speed hydrostatic transmission for a smooth powerful drive, the innovative Genie GTH-3007 telehandler will prove a hit with fleet customers in 2019.”
