Ground and platform control boxes feature simple color graphics and have been redesigned with like functions grouped together. And, like all Genie® booms, the S™-80 can be driven while fully extended.

The redesigned S™-80 and S™-85 continue to provide a comfortable ride with excellent traction in rough terrain thanks to our time-tested active oscillating axle system. Each machine comes standard with deep lug rough terrain (RT) tires and our traction control hydraulic system to help you negotiate the varied terrain on your jobsite.

Limiting the amount of time and money spent on servicing machines is important to a business. The S™-80 and S™-85 come with standard foam-filled tires which diminish the chance of a flat and provide more value for the money. Hydraulic hard lines are found at many locations, delivering consistent routing, and easy-to-access service points. All five boom limit switch harnesses connect in one protected common area at the swing chassis. Fuses and relays are housed in one convenient box and boom tube windows make annually required visual cable inspections quick and easy. And, these units use single-cylinder and cable sequencing rather than shotgun cylinders, providing a lighter-weight boom with simple, less expensive parts for maintenance.
